Apple Pay becomes available to users of Rambler/Cash desk
Today users of the Rambler/Cash desk service, leader in cinema ticket sales in Russia, got access to Apple Pay - the easy and safe personal pay tool which entirely changes the sphere of mobile payments, offering speed and convenience
The new version of the mobile application Rambler/Cash desk has a new method of payment. Users of the service will be the first to be able to purchase tickets to every showing in 1370 cinemas across 147 Russian cities. Due to the launch of Apple Pay, Rambler/Cash desk is providing a 15% discount on the first transaction until the 17th of November inclusively.
Privacy and security are at the heart of Apple Pay. When you add a credit or debit card to Apple Pay, the number of the card itself is stored neither on the device nor on Apple’s servers. Instead, the unique number of the device’s account is given, which is then encrypted and is safely stored on your device’s Safe Element chip. Every transaction is authorised thanks to the unique, one-off secret code that is dynamically generated.
"A combination of Live Ticket from Rambler/Cash desk and the new payment tool entirely change the impressions of visitors going to the cinema. The whole process from choosing and buying a ticket to entering the cinema have become completely virtual. Modern technologies brought into our service enable customers to avoid queueing at the cinema for tickets or at the auditorium entrance, thus saving clients time. We are aiming to provide users with the most technological solutions as soon as they appear on the market," says Aleksey Vasyasin, director of the Rambler/Cash desk department.
Apple Pay is very easy to set up, whilst users will be able to further receive all the advantages and bonuses using their credit and debit cards. Apple Pay can be used to pay in shops with iPhone SE, iPhone 6 and newer models, as well as with Apple Watch.
Apple Pay enables users to shop online in applications and on websites with only one touch of Touch ID; it’s no longer necessary to manually fill out big documents with contact details and repeatedly enter delivery and billing data. When paying for purchases in applications or in Safari, Apple Pay works on iPhone 6 or newer models, on iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3 and more up-to-date models. You can also use Apple Pay in the Safari browser on any Mac computer no older than from 2012 and with the Mac OS Sierra system installed, whilst confirming the payment from your iPhone 6 or a newer model, or directly from Apple Watch.
Tickets to the best seats without extra fees are in the new application by Rambler/Cash desk in App Store.
